This boutique tantra festival offers an intimate buffet of 20+ PLAY-shops, WORK-shops, ritual, ceremony, ecstatic dance, fire ceremony offerings curated from the spaces where sacred sexuality, spirituality, shamanism, temple arts & neuroscience meet. You’re invited to come by yourself, with a partner, or with friends.

Intimacy is also my/your capacity of in-to-ME-SEE. Being SEEN is Intimate. Revealing vulnerability and witnessing others there without judgement and be seen there. The veils of lesser identity drop to sip the passion-play of our cosmic affinity. Past participants have called this juicy festival *Occupying Intimacy* from the inside-out, loving first, then being, and then doing.

The festival supports the elevation of sensuality, consciousness, embodiment, sexuality, intimacy, heart-fullness, art, beauty & life-force energy instead of disembodiment, time, money, and fear. The festival unfolds over 3 days and 2 nights by the beach in Mandrem/Ashwem.

The festival is a living organism, evolving with each edition. The Spirit of Intimacy was launched in the Danish countryside on the island of Møn in June 2017. This is the third edition of the festival. The second edition of the festival is in Byron Bay, Australia (Dec 15 – 17, 2017) with upcoming editions in Denmark & the UK.

Limited tickets (66) available for this weekend to facilitate the creation of a held, personal container for this weekend. This is an International School of Temple Arts (ISTA)-affiliated festival.

“…in these times of transition,
the intention of this festival,
is to cultivate, nurture and grow,
the spirit of intimacy,
within,
occupying intimacy,
to fuel social change,
from the inside,
radiating outside,
reflecting the hall of mirrors,
of reality,
while drinking,
the spirit of intimacy..”
– Binoy Milton Dsouza

<Roisin Allana Kiernan>
Roisin Allana is a born and bred Londoner with Celtic roots and a free-spirited nature.

Naturally curious and contradictory, she’s equally at home leading mantra meditations and cutting shapes on a bass-driven dance-floor. She can hermit away and write for days but also loves the freneticism of life on the road.

Her yoga classes and workshops have run throughout the UK and she offers one-to-one sessions or courses, either in person or via Skype, tailored to suit the individual. She has taught for the Kundalini Yoga Teacher’s Association (KYTA) at The Yoga Show. Is a regular teacher at Morning Gloryville. Curator for the Soul Dome at Bestival. A founding member of the vibration-raising community-driven nights, Beulah Tribe and the yoga and dance festival, Beulah. Her passions of writing and yoga have also amalgamated into Wild Writing sessions at many UK festivals and through the creative writing critique and workshop group, Cut It Out.

In sharing her joys, Roisin Allana encourages others to listen to the stirrings of their own souls and start to live their truth. She believes it is imperative in this paradoxical age, of disconnection despite global connection, that people start tuning in to their feelings – rather than numbing and escaping. Regardless of societal, familial or peer-driven expectations, she encourages people to reconnect within, really listen (to themselves and others), find a way to release negative patterns and do more of what makes them truly happy.

 <Sprout Love>
Sprout has been on a long journey exploring love, intimacy and sexuality. Really it started as a personal journey into his shadows. The aspects that had tainted him in childhood have turned into a gift he shares with the world. Finding his spiritual path as love itself, allowing love freedom to express in which ever form it comes is something his soul yearns for. Co-creating new-paradigms of relating, Taoism, Tantra, Sacred Sexuality, Shadow Work and Shibari are some of the gateways that got him here and now he shares from an embodied platform. We must first drop what we believe love to be in order for love to teach us.
<Baul Madhu Sudhan >
The Bauls are the Indian Sufis, mystical musicians from Bengal. They sing from the heart and pour out their feelings and emotions in their songs. Their music reflects bonds of the heart, subtly revealing the mystery of life, the laws of nature and the ultimate union with the divine. A Baul is a mystic nomad dealing with human relations, emotions and spontaneously expressing their spiritual ideology through music & dance. The music of the Bauls, Baul Sangeet, is a particular type of folk music. Its lyrics carry influences of the Hindu bhakti movements and the songs of Kabir. Their music represents a long heritage of preaching mysticism through songs in Bengali. Their lyrics intertwine a deep sense of mysticism, a longing for oneness with the divine. They seek the divinity in human beings. Metaphysical topics are dwelt upon in a humble fashion and in simple words. To them we are all a gift of divine power and the body is a temple, music being the path to connect to that power.

The great Indian mystic Osho Says “A Baul is a flowering. A Baul is a flowing energy. The Baul is not a seeker, the Baul is one who has found. The Baul is a SIDDHA: one who has looked into life and realized that all is available and there is no need to seek. One has just to participate in this mystery called life. He dances, he sings, he enjoys, he is blissful for no reason at all.”

About the instruments:
The Bauls use ancient shamanic instruments that tune the human body to the universal cosmic frequency. The most common instrument used is the ektara, a one-stringed “plucked drum” drone instrument, carved from the epicarp of a gourd, and made of bamboo and goatskin. Others include the dotara, a long-necked fretless lute (while the name literally means “two stringed” it usually has four metal strings) made of the wood of a jackfruit or neem tree. Drums like the duggi, a small hand-held earthen drum, and and khol; small cymbals called khartal and manjira, and the bamboo flute are also used. Ghungur and nupur are anklets with bells that ring while the person wearing them dances. They also play the “ananda -lahori” which literally translated means “waves of ecstacy”.

About their songs:
The songs of the Bauls highlight the essence of Tantra in many ways. They will have a dialogue with the six psychic centers in the subtle body to the primal memories of the soul wandering in the mother’s womb. Their songs dance with the dormant state of cosmic energy or Kundalini energy in the body. They also transmit the essence of the immortality of the soul through poetry.
