Re-membering Venus October 7, 2017 – Posted in: LaboratoryofVisionaryPlay – Tags: , , , , , , ,

In the darkness of the clouds,
reflecting the light of the sun,
shone the light of the moon.

She pleaded,
to look,
in the dark dens,
where I gambled Venus away.

Mercury spoke first,
and Mars roared,
then the cosmic lightning,
and the rays of sun poured forth.

Awareness folded on itself,
Presence held,
the gaping wound appeared,
tears flowed out.

crawled into the darkness,
surrendered to the chaos,
the lightning,
burnt to the bones.

softened breath,
closed eyes,
surrendered to grace,
forgave myself.

softened my gaze,
a moth scurried forth,
trembling between the serpents,
felt Venus curled up.
